The members of our esteemed team of Pilates Instructor Trainers are accomplished and internationally sought-after educators known for their comprehensive knowledge, dedication and professionalism. Each hold full certification in the STOTT PILATES® method and have achieved additional designations to complement their training.
A diverse group, they come from varied backgrounds including physical therapy, exercise science, athletic therapy, dance, and group and personal fitness training to name a few. Every member of the team strives to uphold the highest standards of training that have been developed worldwide.

Wataru’s background as a physical therapist is a complement to his work as a STOTT PILATES® instructor. He is a Merrithew® Lead Instructor Trainer who also trains a range of clientele – from domestic injuries to elite athletes. Wataru travels extensively, helping certify Merrithew Instructors around the world and in the Asia-Pacific region in particular. He is the President and Founder of Bcube LTC in Osaka, Japan where he is recognized as a leading expert.

Bio
Wayne Seeto is a Merrithew® Master Instructor Trainer and an integral member of the programming, education and presenting team specializing in STOTT PILATES®, STOTT PILATES Rehab and Halo® Training.
Wayne has been based at the Merrithew Corporate Training Center in Toronto since 2003 and is a recognized leader in his field.
This high-energy Australian native received his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland, Australia, and his Masters of Science (Physiotherapy) at McMaster University, Canada.
Wayne has overseen numerous Merrithew teaching manuals as a senior editor, and has presented on behalf of the company at symposia and industry trade events throughout North America, the Asia-Pacific region and Europe. He’s also featured in several Merrithew DVD titles.
In addition to working at the Merrithew Corporate Training Center, Wayne also works as a physiotherapist at a busy sports medicine private practice clinic in Toronto where he uses Pilates for the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries.

Bio
Wei Vern has always harboured an intense passion for movement and sports which led her to ultimately pursuing a degree in Physiotherapy with MAHSA University, under the programme of Anglia Ruskin, United Kingdom.
She has constantly engaged herself throughout her tertiary studies with various clinical placements to gain a diverse experience in her clinical practice. This further enhanced her interest in movements being integrated as a functional system.
Wei Vern then kick-started her STOTT PILATES® training upon joining Pilatique Pilates & Physiotherapy studio in Malaysia in 2018. An ardent believer in active rehabilitation and holistic wellness, she has been helping clients achieve their goals to be pain free through incorporating STOTT&njbsp;PILATES into her treatment approach.
This fueled her further to complete her full certification in 2021 and eventually becoming a Merrithew® Instructor Trainer specializing in Matwork & Reformer in 2022.

Bio
After graduating with a Masters Degree in Architecture, Wenqi decided to turn her passion for Yoga into her profession. Wenqi also has also qualified as a marathon National Level 2 Athlete. After being introduced to Pilates in 2016, she became interested in this training method and started learning STOTT PILATES® in early 2017. She was deeply impressed by its logic and scientific nature and decided to become an Instructor Trainer of STOTT PILATES, to influence more people with this method. She has always maintained a strong interest in yoga, physical fitness training, rehabilitation, mind-body science, philosophy, art, and other aspects. She became a STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer in September 2022 and now enjoys sharing mindful movement knowledge with her students.

Bio
Zhang Xi is the Co-founder of Qing Jing Pilates and Gyrotonic Studio in Jinan, China. Before opening his Pilates studio, Zhang worked for a large corporate investment firm for seven years.
His passion for sports, exercise and movement led him to pursue a Bachelor’s of Education in Sports Training with a focus on the analytical method and technology of special exercises.
After graduating, he devoted himself to finding a more scientific and effective method of movement. He soon discovered STOTT PILATES® and was impressed by its well-rounded, incredibly detailed and thorough curriculum. Studying the method helped him develop a new way of thinking about exercise and movement. He became a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor in 2017.
Zhang became a Merrithew® Instructor Trainer in 2021 specializing in STOTT PILATES Matwork and Reformer.
He looks forward to sharing his knowledge, passion and experience with other people who wish to develop a career in mindful movement.
