The members of our esteemed team of Pilates Instructor Trainers are accomplished and internationally sought-after educators known for their comprehensive knowledge, dedication and professionalism. Each hold full certification in the STOTT PILATES® method and have achieved additional designations to complement their training.
A diverse group, they come from varied backgrounds including physical therapy, exercise science, athletic therapy, dance, and group and personal fitness training to name a few. Every member of the team strives to uphold the highest standards of training that have been developed worldwide.

Bio
Shane received a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in 1995 and has spent many years performing and teaching modern dance in the US and internationally. She became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2002 and an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2004. In 2008 she received her certification as a Duggan French Approach Practitioner (DFA) of Somatic Pattern Recognition. Shane brings a strong background in movement education, anatomy and kinesiology to her teaching.

Bio
Sharon received her STOTT PILATES® certification in 2009 and became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2012. Sharon’s interest in movement began with dance, and over time evolved into a career in health and fitness. After completing a bachelor and post graduate diploma in commerce, Sharon’s professional career specialized in sports product/apparel design and manufacture. Sharon is now the owner of Core Pilates Studio in Auckland New Zealand, where she teaches and trains instructors in the STOTT PILATES method from Australia and New Zealand. She has a wealth of experience training clients with post-rehab needs and athletic conditioning.

Bio
Shauna began her STOTT PILATES® instruction in 1999 to rehab a reoccurring injury from many years of ballet training. She fell in love with the movement, range of motion and strength training Pilates provided and she decided she wanted to share it with others. She began her certification in the method in 2000 while finishing her BA at Drury University in Studio Art and Art History and is now an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES. Shauna is owner of The Bodysmith Pilates & Fitness Studio and The Rock Steady Boxing Gym in Springfield, Missouri. She enjoys using Pilates to rehabilitate clients as well as combine the worlds of athletic training and mind-body fitness to create strong whole athletes at any level.

Bio
With an extensive background in dance, the transition into teaching Pilates came naturally to Shelly. She has been a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor since 2000 and in 2002 became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES. She continued to add to her credentials in 2013 by becoming a Total Barre® IT. Shelly brings with her an understanding and appreciation of what the body is capable of as well as the desire to share her knowledge with others. In her free time Shelly enjoys running, dancing and chasing after her daughter.

Bio
Sheri is a Merrithew® Lead Instructor Trainer specializing in STOTT PILATES®, Total Barre® and CORE™ Athletic Conditioning and Performance Training™. She’s also qualified in TRX®, Kettlebells and ViPR™.
After earning a Ph.D. from Harvard University, Sheri’s first career was as a college economics professor. While she loved teaching, her passion for sports and wellness surpassed her interest in economics. She began training in Pilates in 2002 and quickly noticed how Pilates improved her performance in all sports, and later remedied her running injuries.
Sheri shares her expertise and love of fitness with a diverse clientele, including fellow instructors, clients and athletes. She also holds ACE certifications in Personal Training and Health Coaching and is a running coach for USA Track & Field.
