The Merrithew Mindful Movement Tour joins the Pilates leader programme in São Paulo, Brazil

Toronto, April 15, 2014  – For the second year in a row, leaders in mindful movement, Merrithew™ (MH&F) will be taking their global symposium series, The Merrithew Mindful Movement Tour, back to São Paulo, Brazil, May 16 - 18, 2014 – this time as a part of the Pilates Leader Programme (PLP). The symposium will take a hand-picked team of sought-after Instructor Trainers to global cities to share the latest in mindful movement and exercise science from MH&F’s newest branded programs.

Sharing the newest in exercise science as well as recent innovations in the fitness industry, the tour looks to inspire mind-body and fitness professionals to reframe their perception of mindful movement and will exhibit how mind-body modalities will benefit every type of exerciser, not just the ‘zen’ set of the population.

“When we visited Brazil last year with our 25th anniversary World Tour, we had the opportunity to work with 125 dedicated and enthusiastic mind-body exercise professionals,” shares Lindsay G. Merrithew, CEO and President of Merrithew. “We couldn’t be more excited to return and work with their fitness leaders again this year.”

“Our CORE™ Athletic Conditioning & Performance Training™ brand was the most popular in Brazil amongst attendees last year and we’re excited to bring that back,” shares Moira Merrithew, Executive Director, Education. “We’re also looking forward to offering numerous other foundational courses and workshops that will expand the breadth of mind-body exercise, attracting more fitness enthusiasts to this style of workout. At MH&F, we have developed our programming based on the most recent findings in the world of exercise science that emphasize proper biomechanics that deliver effective workouts for clients that are results-oriented.”

The PLP is a union of people who have passion and respect for being a Pilates Instructor and have an eagerness to improve every day. This three-day programme will offer more than 80 courses and workshops with a wide selection of exclusive MH&F branded programs to choose from. Programs developed by the MH&F team will be led by Master Instructors PJ O'Clair, Kim Krausher and Wayne Seeto with Lead Instructor Jacqueline Rangel. Registration for São Paulo is now open at .  In addition to adding new skills to their fitness toolkit, attendees can look forward to distinguishing themselves from other fitness professionals through specialized skills and also networking with some of the industry’s most inspiring individuals.
