Understanding the Professional Development Courses
Designed to provide an intensive educational experience, our Professional Development Courses are presented using various teaching methods, including lectures and demos. Each course provides in-depth information into a specific topic, covering relevant theory, programming, observation techniques and exercise selection. Our Professional Development Courses range from 1-3 days, shorter in comparison to other courses we offer. To maintain a personalized learning environment, these courses are limited to 18 students.
Eligibility for the Professional Development Courses
Our STOTT PILATES Professional Development Courses are designed for all movement professionals, including Pilates instructors, personal trainers, exercise specialists, strength and conditioning coaches, rehabilitation experts and fitness enthusiasts. Additionally, we welcome anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and practical application skills in a specific area. Prior Pilates certification or movement training is not required, however, some knowledge of the repertoire would be an asset.
Advantages of the Professional Development Courses
Our Professional Development Courses offer comprehensive learning experiences designed to enhance both technical abilities and soft skills. These courses aim to broaden students’ networking horizons and guide them to engage with a more diverse client base, fostering growth in their respective practices and careers.
Additionally, the Professional Development Courses aim to develop and improve participant’s instructing skills to effectively address their clients’ needs. Our courses provide students with innovative solutions to a range of challenges they may encounter in their practice and careers. One of the core objectives is to renew students’ enthusiasm across various topics, and inspire them to stay up-to-date on current industry trends.
Upon completion, students are awarded a letter and a certificate of completion, signifying their commitment to professional growth. Dependant on the length of the course, participants may also be eligible to earn STOTT PILATES Continuing Education Credits (CECs).
