STOTT PILATES 0.2

There’s so much more to creating effective programs than using fun props or adding new choreography. But, functional movement, fascial concepts and a plethora of new training protocols are only theory if they are not individually and systematically applied to each client. In this multi-planar functional assessment workshop, simple foundational movement evaluations that help assess a client’s mobility, stability, balance and sensory awareness are described and experienced. Then, effective ways of incorporating props like the Stability Barrel, Toning Balls, Flex-Bands® and Mini Stability Balls® are covered. There is also an opportunity to program in groups to ensure a thorough understanding of the findings. Participants leave with a clearer understanding of how to implement new interdisciplinary concepts within the framework of their current knowledge base.
