STOTT PILATES® Ultimate Body Sculpting - Flex-Band® Level 3
Learn Intermediate-level exercises that challenge core and peripheral strength, and add variety and multi-dimensional joint movements to the basic Flex-Band® exerciser routine. This intense full-body workout, developed by the Merrithew® team, emphasizes the upper and lower body working together while maintaining correct alignment and form. Exercises mimic those from the Reformer repertoire featuring the same movement essence and breath and movement patterns. Cues and corrections for safety and effectiveness are also covered.

STOTT PILATES® Twist Ball™ Workout
Participants will experience a fully integrated workout using the Twist Ball, an air-filled weighted ball. The same size and density as a larger Mini Stability Ball, the Twist Ball has a shifting center of sand and two soft foam handles. Once whole-body movement is mastered, participants can increase the load and challenge the connective tissue system through creative exercises. Learn load transfer strategies using drag, pick-up, and toss movements that reinforce whole-body motion, control, strength, and coordination to manage acceleration and deceleration forces.

STOTT PILATES® Bodyweight Training
Can using only bodyweight create an effective workout for any level client? Absolutely! Explore a workout that takes you through a series of standing exercises designed to strengthen and tone from the ground up. No additional props or external resistance are needed in this creative full-body training session that targets muscular strength and endurance, balance and control. Exercise variations are included to increase or decrease challenge and intensity as well as discussions of cueing and motivating techniques.

Laureen DuBeau
Master Instructor Trainer
Laureen is an integral member of a dynamic team responsible for the global development and implementation of training and certification programs. Her spirited approach to teaching has made Laureen a vibrant international presenter, trainer and examiner. An NSCA certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and a Pink Ribbon certified instructor, she began teaching Pilates in 1995, and is now a Merrithew® Pilates Master Instructor Trainer specializing in STOTT PILATES®, ZEN•GA®, Total Barre®, Halo® Training and Merrithew Fascial Movement. Laureen is a featured performer and associate producer of many Merrithew DVDs, the associate editor of numerous teaching manuals and author of articles in several industry publications.
Prior to joining Merrithew, Laureen worked for Tennis Canada where she was responsible for Canadian and international public relations in the capacity of media relations and communications, player relations and event organization. Laureen studied Dance and Physical Education at York University in Toronto where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
