Photography and logos: FAQs

I’ve seen an image in one of your brochures that isn’t in this collection, can I get that one?

Not all photography is available for wider use. Some images have been reserved for Merrithew use only

Can I use images from the manuals or other educational materials to promote events?

Any duplication of our educational materials is prohibited

Why is there a logo on this image?

That is a watermark on a low resolution image. When your design is approved you will receive a non-watermarked, high resolution image

Can I just use these low resolution images for a brochure?

No, these images are provided for concept purposes only and are low resolution. If you print with them your images will appear fuzzy and not very pleasing

Why is the logo an EPS file? What is that? I can’t open it?

EPS is a graphic file format used in design and printing. If you are having a sign made or something professionally designed, your designer will ask for a vector format – EPS or AI, this file is suitable for that. The JPGs we have provided are high resolution, but you will have better results with the EPS file

Can I change the color of the STOTT PILATES® or other brands’ logo?

No, these are the official colors of our brands and we ask that you do not change them. However, if you are printing in one color and require the logo to knockout in white or reverse in black, that is allowed. Your designer can change the EPS file. If you require something else not provided or have any questions about the logo, contact us at marketing@merrithew.com
