Job summary

A highly reputable physiotherapy clinic known for it's unique Pilates service offering which dates back to 2009. The Toronto Physiotherapy clinic model is a big hit with our therapists, instructors, referring healthcare providers, and patients!

Our Pilates instructors work independently and 1:1 with their Pilates clients, and closely with our Physiotherapists who provide a thorough biomechanical assessment and injury assessment for each Pilates rehab patient, with guidance provided as to the goals of the Pilates sessions and any contraindications/precautions that may be required. These sessions are billed as Physiotherapy, as the Pilates instructor works as a Physiotherapist Assistant in this model of care, highly beneficial to our patients with physiotherapy coverage.

At Toronto Physiotherapy, we create an exceptional healthcare experience for our patients and clients by hiring exceptional therapists. We are looking for a Part-time Pilates Instructor to join our busy Danforth & Chester clinic, taking over an existing Pilates caseload. We have offered 1:1 Pilates sessions (delivered by Registered PTs or Pilates Instructors) for many years, and are seeking to welcome a new team member to fill this valued role at our clinic as we are unable to keep up with demand, and two of our existing Pilates team members are departing on maternity leave in the coming months.

Our focus is to create a rewarding team environment where therapists are excited to come to work, and excited to continue their growth as clinicians. We have a dedicated studio space for our private Pilates sessions, with a full wall of windows providing an abundance of natural light, and Pilates/rehab equipment to suit all levels of clientele (Reformer, Ladder Barrel, and all the smaller pieces of physiotherapy/Pilates equipment needed for comprehensive Pilates rehab sessions).

  • Professional and polished demeanor with patients. A “people-person” who cultivates a nurturing and enjoyable environment for both patients and staff
  • An interest in sharing knowledge and engaging in team-based patient care with our other Physiotherapists and Massage Therapists, and working with an interesting and diverse caseload

Caseload and Compensation

We succeed in attracting the best therapists not just because we offer very competitive compensation, but because we also offer an easy and enjoyable work environment staffed with exceptional therapists and friendly and knowledgeable administrative staff.

Part-time position available at our beautiful Danforth clinic/studio space, located at 442 Danforth Ave, at the corner of Danforth & Arundel (Chester subway station). Hours/shifts and start date is flexible.
