ABOUT: Located in the heart of downtown Osaka, a 5 minute walk from Shinsaibashi subway station. Founded in 2005, re-located in July 2006, and expanded in 2008, the 4,000 square state-of-the-art center consists of 2 floors, which each is used separately and exclusively for studio and education. Studio floor features separate rooms for private, group and yoga sessions, plus a private lounge, reception area, 2 private changing rooms, 2 changing rooms, and 2 restrooms and is fully equipped with STOTT PILATES equipment including 2 V2 Max Plus, 2 Pro Reformers, 2 Wall Units, 5 SPX Reformers, 2 Cadillacs, 5 Stability Chairs, 2 Spine Correctors, 1 Ladder Barrel, and other light equipments.
Our 8 certified STOTT PILATES Instructors, including 3 Instructor Trainers, are led by Lead Instructor Trainer and experienced physiotherapist Wataru Kamiizumi. B Cube provides private, semi-private, and group sessions daily, and courses throughout the year.

The STOTT PILATES Intensive program is for fitness and health professionals. This program prepares you to teach STOTT PILATES Level 1 Matwork and equipment-based repertoires safely, effectively and with confidence.

Injuries & Special Populations

The STOTT PILATES Injuries & Special Populations course equips you with the skills required to address a broad range of physical challenges among your clients. Completion of ISP is required for full certification.

The Rehabilitation Program

The Rehabilitation program is specifically for licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, sports medicine professionals and chiropractors wishing to integrate modified STOTT PILATES exercises for injury prevention and rehabilitation into their practices.

ZEN•GA™ is an innovative fusion of exercise science and mindful movement that brings about clarity of the mind while releasing body tension through purposeful movement. ZEN represents the search for inner discovery, while YOGA symbolizes the way to reach it. Together they form ZEN•GA, which is based on Four Mindful Movement Principles: breath, support, yield and flow. When applied together, these principles allow you to become aware of how the body and the mind move in tandem. ZEN•GA focuses on core stability, stamina and resilience while attaining a state of presence. The increase in demand on your neuromuscular system allows you to reap the benefits of improved strength, clarity and overall fitness.

Total Barre™ Courses

Total Barre™ is a high-energy program that focuses on strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability by combining elements from Pilates, dance, cardio and strength training. Programming is driven by music which increases coordination, motivation and improve movement quality. Incorporating the Total Barre Foundational Principles, this program teaches choreography, exercise essence and correct biomechanics of movements as well as how to cue effectively and safely to music.

Prerequisites:
The intensive courses are recommended for certified fitness instructors, personal trainers, and other fitness & health professionals who want to expand their knowledge and enhance their business. Applicants must have, at least three years experience teaching fitness, dance or movement, familiarity with the works of Joseph Pilates, formal anatomy training and a working knowledge of muscle origins, insertions and functions, in order to attend the course.
A Note Regarding Exams:
You are not obliged to write (and pay for) two exams if you are planning to take both courses. You may choose to wait until completion of the second course to write your exam (a combined Matwork and Reformer exam). If you prefer to pause between courses, you may choose to take an exam to become certified in Matwork only, and another exam (a combined Matwork and Reformer exam) after completing the second course to become certified in Reformer work. In this case two exam fees would apply.
