INSTRUCTION

  • Instruct both private and group classes
  • Motivate, monitor, guide and lead clients and class participants on the safe and effective use of equipment
  • Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goals, achievement and retention
  • Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs 
  • Ensure the studio is kept clean and orderly and safety standards are enforced
  • Ensure all compliance and company policies/procedures are enforced

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STUDENT INTERACTION

  • Provide excellent customer service and help reduce attrition and increase retention through active interactions as appropriate and through leading by example
  • Actively assist students to finding appropriate classes to meet their personal goals, answering their questions and, always offering support and guidance
  • Check students into class/workshop / etc. through software system (Club Ready Online or equivalent systems) when needed 
  • Welcome all visitors according to our Customer Service standards
  • Always answer communications from management team promptly and courteously. 
  • Promotes and sells Pilates training programs, workshops, and teacher training
  • Ensure all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer through complimentary based services and programming
  • Documents all aspects of client programming 
  • Learn complimentary session process and convert complimentary sessions to clients 
  • Act as an ambassador for company products and services in the community

STUDIO OPERATIONS

  • Setup class before class start time 
  • Breakdown classes after class is finished
  • Let Studio Ambassador know if there is any issue with cleanliness
  • Report any issues per our procedures 
  • Responsible for subbing out classes 
  • Meet with the Lead Instructor at least once per month 
  • Participate in studio, membership appreciation, and community events.
  • Participate in monthly workshop
  • Participate in instructor class at least twice a month
  • Respond to emails in a timely fashion 
  • Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan 
  • Follows and uphold Employee Handbook and all other guidelines including but not limited to: Customer Service & Dress Code Guidelines, Core Values, etc 
  • Other duties required to help company meet its goals

Job requirements

  • Child & Adult AED/CPR certified.
  • High School Diploma
  • Full apparatus training in Pilates
  • Able to work Nights, Weekends and Monthly close-out last 3 days of month.
  • Must be able to hear and speak effectively in English.
  • Experience in Pilates program design and postural analysis
  • Being a hands-on manager by spending in studio and interacting with members and staff.
  • Model integrity, collaboration and a can-do attitude.
  • Displaying a positive energy while engaging with staff and members at all times.
  • Proven ability to drive results through others.
  • Some experience analyzing Profit & Loss statements and analyzing reports required.
  • Constantly recruiting top talent in the industry.
  • Ability to proficiently use our POS, studio platform, timekeeping and any other computer programs required to meet the business needs of the customer and Club Pilates.
  • Certification in Pilates or Fitness within 90 days of employment.
  • Constantly maintaining member privacy and member data standards.
  • Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance their teaching. This position operates mainly in a Pilates studio but will also include selling and marketing in the local community. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
