Physiotherapist and Pilates Rehabilitation Instructor

Pilates4Physio is a unique physiotherapy clinic in the Downtown Core of Toronto. I am experiencing an increase in demand and running a wait list of potential patients. Pilates-based rehabilitation is provided on the classic equipment. All sessions are provided by the physiotherapist and are one-on-one with the patient. Sessions are longer than the industry standard with 45 and 60 minute durations.

The emphasis is on quality rehabilitation instruction with manual therapy where needed. Equipment includes STOTT PILATES Rehab Reformer and Towers, Chair and Barrels. There are props and resistance equipment to complement the patients needs.

Pilates4Physio is a 600 Sq Ft space. The focus is on active-based treatment and evidence based approaches to pain and tissue healing. This is not a passive-based treatment facility.

Pilates4Physio is looking for a physiotherapist who enjoys and sees the benefits of active-based rehabilitation. You must have either the Stott Rehab Instructor qualification or something equivalent. Ideally you should have been trained on all the classic equipment. Some level of manual therapy training is preferred with soft tissue mobilization skills as well.

You must be prepared to build a caseload and manage it independently. Some coaching and guidance will be provided on caseload management and working with challenging conditions and injuries.

Your position would be that of an independent contractor, starting with one shift per week, building to 2-3 shifts per week.
