The STOTT PILATES Intensive program is for fitness and health professionals. This program prepares you to teach STOTT PILATES Level 1 Matwork and equipment-based repertoires safely, effectively and with confidence.

The Rehabilitation program is specifically for licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, sports medicine professionals and chiropractors wishing to integrate modified STOTT PILATES exercises for injury prevention and rehabilitation into their practices.

ZEN•GA Courses

ZEN•GA™ is an innovative fusion of exercise science and mindful movement that brings about clarity of the mind while releasing body tension through purposeful movement. Take your workouts to the next level with our CORE Athletic Conditioning & Performance Training – developed exclusively by MERRITHEW™ experts. This unique training program focuses on functional fitness targeting core strength and kinesthetic awareness leading to improvements in total-body strength and power. Total Barre™ Courses

Total Barre™ is a high-energy program that focuses on strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability by combining elements from Pilates, dance, cardio and strength training. Programming is driven by music which increases coordination, motivation and improve movement quality. Incorporating the Total Barre Foundational Principles, this program teaches choreography, exercise essence and correct biomechanics of movements as well as how to cue effectively and safely to music.

Exam Preparation Workshops

To help you in preparing for your exam, or if it's been more than 6 months since your last course, we offer helpful exam review sessions. Each workshop focuses on a different aspect of the exam criteria so you can choose all workshops or just those that you need a refresher. CECs are earned during Workshops.

Practical & Written Exam dates

The written and practical components must be taken within 7 days of one another and completed at the same venue. Practical exams are scheduled on a first come first served basis.

Prerequisites:
The intensive courses are recommended for certified fitness instructors, personal trainers, and other fitness & health professionals who want to expand their knowledge and enhance their business. Applicants must have, at least three years experience teaching fitness, dance or movement, familiarity with the works of Joseph Pilates, formal anatomy training and a working knowledge of muscle origins, insertions and functions, in order to attend the course.
A Note Regarding Exams:
You are not obliged to write (and pay for) two exams if you are planning to take both courses. You may choose to wait until completion of the second course to write your exam (a combined Matwork and Reformer exam). If you prefer to pause between courses, you may choose to take an exam to become certified in Matwork only, and another exam (a combined Matwork and Reformer exam) after completing the second course to become certified in Reformer work. In this case two exam fees would apply.
