Duration: Complete in 2 weeks or 3 weekends (varies by Training Center).

Additional Practical Training Requirements

Observation – Watch STOTT PILATES Certified Instructors and Instructor Trainers in live sessions with clients or via Merrithew Connect.

Physical Review – Personally practice exercises learned in class.

Practice Teaching – Teach STOTT PILATES repertoire to clients, fellow students or via video sessions.

Note: Practice logs must be submitted before the final exam.

Flexible Modular Learning – IMP1 & IMP2

To accommodate different schedules, the IMP course is available in two modules:

IMP1 – Module 1 (Essential Matwork)

  • ✔ 25 hours instruction & supervised teaching
  • ✔ 6 hours observation
  • ✔ 20 hours physical review
  • ✔ 10 hours practice teaching
  • Total: 61 hours
  • CECs: 2.5 STOTT PILATES

IMP2 – Module 2 (Intermediate Matwork)

  • ✔ 15 hours instruction & supervised teaching
  • ✔ 4 hours observation
  • ✔ 10 hours physical review
  • ✔ 5 hours practice teaching
  • Total: 34 hours
  • CECs: 1.5 STOTT PILATES
