Endurance builds both stamina and strength. In this four-hour workshop, developed by the Merrithew® team, Instructors will learn unique choreography that follows the Total Barre 11-segment format. This is a comprehensive and diverse whole-body workout that incorporates movements from strength and conditioning as well as ballet and modern/contemporary dance.
This class follows the objectives of the Endurance track of Total Barre workshops: The choreography is less complex, making retention of the movement easier and gives participants the opportunity to focus on the movement patterns and muscular work. This is a great workout for those who are working at a strong Essential level and may be challenged by the complexity of the Amplified choreography. The added resistance of the Flex-Band®, small hand weights, and the Fitness Circle provide proprioception and muscular challenge.
The music is a collection of tracks from other Total Barre workouts. The class can be taught in its entirety or instructors can trade out segments in their other workouts to create variety.
