STOTT PILATES® Advanced Stability Chair™

The Intermediate and Advanced Stability Chair exercises are often regarded as the most challenging to perform and likewise to teach. This workshop, developed by the Merrithew® team, focuses on some of the more complex moves and attempts to thoroughly break down and clarify them. Working in groups, participants rotate through the repertoire paying particular attention to goals of the exercises, biomechanics and alignment with particular application of the STOTT PILATES® Principles. Appropriate cueing and correcting techniques are discussed as well as how to teach the exercises safely and to recognize when clients may be ready to proceed to this level of intensity.
