Clients with osteoporosis may be put at risk for injury or fracture when performing certain exercises in traditional exercise programs. This specially designed workshop, developed by the Merrithew team provides programming and guidelines to maximize joint mobility, improve muscular strength and endurance, improve balance and maintain functionality all while reducing movements that may put the spine at risk. Understand how incorporating small props like the Mini Stability Ball, Foam Roller, Flex-Band® and Toning Balls can effectively assist clients and offer myriad modifications and variations to a Matwork routine. Walk away with the knowledge to design safe and effective matwork programs for your clients with osteoporosis. The course uses case studies to apply the information learned in the lecture.
