Instructor Trainer bios

The STOTT PILATES® Faculty, or members of our esteemed team of Instructor Trainers, is made up of highly qualified and internationally sought-after educators who are known for their dedication, professionalism and attention to detail. All of our faculty members hold full certification in the STOTT PILATES method and have achieved additional designations to complement their training. A diverse group, they come from various backgrounds including physical therapy, exercise science, athletic therapy, dance and group and personal fitness training to name a few. Every member of the team strives to uphold the highest standards of training that have been developed worldwide.

Bio

Born in Brazil, Samia received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Campinas before moving to New York to pursue a professional dance career. After a knee injury, Samia decided to pursue Pilates as a career and she became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2003.  Before becoming an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew™ specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2008 and in ZEN•GA™   Mindful Movement in 2013, Samia taught Pilates in Austria and across the United States. Samia has also been an Instructor Trainer specializing in. She currently teaches at Inspire Health, where she takes great joy in helping clients meet their fitness goals and achieve pain free lives.  Her vast experience in working with a variety of clientele including athletes, pre- and post-natal women, the obese, seniors and post-rehab clients makes Samia a well-rounded instructor.
