A lifelong athlete and native Californian, Michele was introduced to Pilates in 1996 to rehabilitate from a neck injury and improve her performance as a competitive runner. In Switzerland, where she was VP of a global healthcare advertising firm, Michele independently refined and strengthened her Pilates skills while taking up rock climbing. A relocation to The Netherlands allowed her to pursue her passion for Pilates full-time. Michele earned her first STOTT PILATES® Certification in 2005, her full Certification in 2008, and became an Instructor Trainer in 2009. While living in The Netherlands, she established CorSano Pilates™ as a satellite studio through which she introduced and taught STOTT PILATES® classes for the public at local gyms, and also led Certification courses for the Licensed Training Center (now located in The Hague). When Michele moved to Ottawa, Canada in 2011, she opened CorSano Pilates™, an exclusive studio and Merrithew™ Host Center where she offers specialized one-on-one training to rehab clients and high-level athletes. Michele also teaches weekly at a local dance school and an integrated wellness center, and has become known for her CorMotus™ self-care group classes. Now a Lead Instructor Trainer for Merrithew™ specializing in STOTT PILATES®, Michele is available on a freelance basis through the Corporate Training Center in Toronto.
