Instructor Trainer bios
The STOTT PILATES® Faculty, or members of our esteemed team of Instructor Trainers, is made up of highly qualified and internationally sought-after educators who are known for their dedication, professionalism and attention to detail. All of our faculty members hold full certification in the STOTT PILATES method and have achieved additional designations to complement their training. A diverse group, they come from various backgrounds including physical therapy, exercise science, athletic therapy, dance and group and personal fitness training to name a few. Every member of the team strives to uphold the highest standards of training that have been developed worldwide.

In 1997, LeeAnn began working with the prevention, emergency care, maintenance and rehabilitation of athletic injury, then spent two years instructing in the Athletic Training Program at James Madison University in Virginia. Pilates became her passion in 2004, and in 2007 she became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew™ specializing in STOTT PILATES®. The same year, she joined Balance Pilates Training Center as an instructor. LeeAnn’s education includes a BS in Sports Medicine from the State University of New York at Cortland and an MS in Exercise Physiology from James Madison University. She has 20 years of experience working in the fitness industry with a variety of certifications including NATA Athletic Trainer, ACE Personal Trainer and AFAA Group Exercise Instructor and is also an IT for ZEN•GA® Matwork and Equipment. LeeAnn enjoys working with an individual’s needs, and loves sharing her knowledge and skills of instruction to her clients and students.
