The designation of Lead Instructor Trainer is awarded to an individual who inspires others through leadership and the Merrithew™ Community of Excellence philosophy. These Instructor trainers have a strong sense of team and demonstrated commitment to ensuring consistency and continual growth across Merrithew branded programs. A Lead IT has recognized experience teaching both teachers-in-training as well as private and group clients, and has been empowered with educating our worldwide network of instructors in valuable repertoire and curriculum additions.

Additional credentials and designations
Kimber McQueen is the Program Director and Owner of BALANCE: Pilates Training Center in Richmond, VA. She has a BFA in Performance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BA in Sociology from James Madison University. While rehabilitating a broken foot, Kimber discovered Pilates and was instantly hooked. In May of 1999, she received her certification in STOTT PILATES® and opened her studio later that year. In 2004, Kimber was invited to become an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew™ specializing in STOTT PILATES, and that August, BALANCE was named the Licensed Training Center of Virginia. She became a Total Barre® IT in 2013, along with her qualifications in ZEN•GA® Mat and CORE™. During her career, Kimber has had the pleasure of working with clients of all fitness levels and abilities, from professional athletes, to those with special issues and everyone in between. It this experience that has resulted in the development of a clear and precise teaching style dedicated to helping her clients achieve measurable results.
