The members of our esteemed team of Pilates Instructor Trainers are accomplished and internationally sought-after educators known for their comprehensive knowledge, dedication and professionalism. Each hold full certification in the STOTT PILATES® method and have achieved additional designations to complement their training.
A diverse group, they come from varied backgrounds including physical therapy, exercise science, athletic therapy, dance, and group and personal fitness training to name a few. Every member of the team strives to uphold the highest standards of training that have been developed worldwide.

Bio
Scilla began her training with STOTT PILATES® in 2010 at our Licensed Training Center in Italy. She continued on to receive her full certification in 2012 and shortly after began pursuing her STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer designation. She now teaches at the same studio she first trained at, Pilates Italia.

Bio
After graduating with a degree in dance, Sehee’s interest in movement naturally led her to Pilates. She began her career as a STOTT PILATES® instructor and went on to present at major conferences such as IDEA Korea, serve as a BOSU® Master Trainer and lecture at Yonsei University’s health seminars. She also designed performance enhancement and rehabilitation programs for LPGA and KBL athletes, honing her expertise in sports conditioning.
As the long-time director of Minjoo Pilates, Merrithew® Host Training Centers in Gwanghwamun and Pangyo, South Korea, Sehee has had the opportunity to work alongside a diverse range of Instructor Trainers and learn from their unique approaches.
Motivated by the impact of quality education and meaningful student interaction, she became a Merrithew Instructor Trainer to share the method more widely and help shape the next generation of instructors.

Seongjun (Jaden) is a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer. He holds qualifications such as PMA-NCPT, TPI Level 2, and BOSU® Master, showcasing his diverse fitness expertise. Seongjun's journey began as a personal trainer, leading him to become a dedicated Pilates instructor with a focus on STOTT PILATES Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair & Barrels techniques. He and his wife, an education director, jointly run a Pilates studio, providing a systematic and specialized approach to fitness.

Erin's interest in STOTT PILATES® was inspired by her experience of managing an autoimmune disease since childhood. Her dedication led her to achieve full certification, and she furthered her career as a Merrithew® Instructor Trainer. Additionally, she co-taught courses at Merrithew's Corporate Training Center in Toronto, Ont. Currently, Erin serves as the education director of PILATES THE FIT, located in Seoul, which is a Merrithew host site in South Korea.
Her expertise extends beyond being a movement professional, as she specializes in athlete conditioning and rehabilitative conditioning for LPGA & KLPGA players and national athletes. Through her deep passion for Pilates and her firsthand understanding of its benefits, Erin has positively impacted the lives of many individuals in both Canada and Korea. Her guidance has helped people lead healthier and more active lifestyles.

Bio
Shane received a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in 1995 and has spent many years performing and teaching modern dance in the US and internationally. She became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2002 and an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2004. In 2008 she received her certification as a Duggan French Approach Practitioner (DFA) of Somatic Pattern Recognition. Shane brings a strong background in movement education, anatomy and kinesiology to her teaching.

Sharon's journey began as a professional dancer and choreographer, before she fell in love with Pilates. She earned her full STOTT PILATES® certification in 2005 in Toronto, Canada, and her love for teaching and sharing her expertise inspired her to become a Certified Instructor Trainer in 2011.
After taking a hiatus from teaching in 2015, Sharon reignited her commitment to Pilates and successfully reinstated her qualifications as an Instructor Trainer. Today, she proudly runs Simetri Pilates Studio in Singapore, where she continues to inspire and mentor others in their Pilates journeys.

Sharon received her STOTT PILATES® certification in 2009 and became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2012. Sharon’s interest in movement began with dance, and over time evolved into a career in health and fitness. After completing a bachelor and post graduate diploma in commerce, Sharon’s professional career specialized in sports product/apparel design and manufacture. Sharon is now the owner of Core Pilates Studio in Auckland New Zealand, where she teaches and trains instructors in the STOTT PILATES method from Australia and New Zealand. She has a wealth of experience training clients with post-rehab needs and athletic conditioning.

Shauna began her STOTT PILATES® instruction in 1999 to rehab a reoccurring injury from many years of ballet training. She fell in love with the movement, range of motion and strength training Pilates provided and she decided she wanted to share it with others. She began her certification in the method in 2000 while finishing her BA at Drury University in Studio Art and Art History and is now an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES. Shauna is owner of The Bodysmith Pilates & Fitness Studio and The Rock Steady Boxing Gym in Springfield, Missouri. She enjoys using Pilates to rehabilitate clients as well as combine the worlds of athletic training and mind-body fitness to create strong whole athletes at any level.

With an extensive background in dance, the transition into teaching Pilates came naturally to Shelly. She has been a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor since 2000 and in 2002 became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES. She continued to add to her credentials in 2013 by becoming a Total Barre® IT. Shelly brings with her an understanding and appreciation of what the body is capable of as well as the desire to share her knowledge with others. In her free time Shelly enjoys running, dancing and chasing after her daughter.

Bio
Shelly first discovered STOTT PILATES® in 2008 and has remained dedicated to the practice ever since. With a background in competitive gymnastics and professional ballet, Shelly has always been connected to movement. She holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from Humboldt State University, specializing in Pre-Physical Therapy, with a minor in Dance.
Since 2012, she has been sharing her knowledge in various movement and fitness disciplines and finds teaching STOTT PILATES to be the most rewarding. Driven by her commitment to continual growth, Shelly became a STOTT PILATES Mat and Reformer Instructor Trainer in 2023. She aspires to teach therapeutic forms of movement while making the exploration of the human body an enjoyable experience.
