The members of our esteemed team of Pilates Instructor Trainers are accomplished and internationally sought-after educators known for their comprehensive knowledge, dedication and professionalism. Each hold full certification in the STOTT PILATES® method and have achieved additional designations to complement their training.
A diverse group, they come from varied backgrounds including physical therapy, exercise science, athletic therapy, dance, and group and personal fitness training to name a few. Every member of the team strives to uphold the highest standards of training that have been developed worldwide.

Bio
Kim first received her certification as an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® specializing in STOTT PILATES® Rehab in 2007 and is now a Lead Instructor Trainer specializing in Injuries & Special Populations and Rehabilitation. An American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedic Certified Specialist, Kim has Masters Degrees in Manual/Orthopedic Physical Therapy and Sports Physical Therapy, as well as a PhD in Instructional Technology. Kim is also an Associate Professor at Wayne State University's Department of Physical Therapy, an international presenter and has been published on Physical Therapy topics. With extensive experience in applying the STOTT PILATES principles to clients with injuries and impairments, Kim uses the method with clients at Equilibrium as well as providing evaluation and consultation for acute performing arts and sports injuries.

Bio
Kim earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, performed and trained as a dancer. Her background blends movement expertise, business experience, and a strong passion for helping people feel and perform at their best.
As the company expanded beyond Head Office during her training, Kim was invited to become both an LTC and an IT. Already inspired by the STOTT PILATES® method, she saw an exciting opportunity to help grow the community in Eastern Canada. With an established day spa and multiple fitness programs, she had the space and vision to create the first fully equipped Pilates studio in Atlantic Canada.
After 28 years with Merrithew, she remains deeply connected to its community of instructors and studio owners, whose dedication continually motivates her. As she moves into the next phase of her career, she aims to give back by supporting both emerging and established professionals with the knowledge and perspective gained over decades in mindful movement education.
Her current areas of interest include breathwork and mindfulness in motion, a rapidly growing field in which she believes Merrithew is uniquely positioned to lead.

Bio
Kim is a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer and a Post Rehabilitation Specialist. To her young daughter, Kim helps people move better. She is honored to work with people recovering from injuries or post-operative patients and those with postural challenges such as Scoliosis. Her extensive training includes all Pilates apparatus, STOTT PILATES® Injuries and Special Populations (ISP), therapeutic Pilates, Merrithew® Fascial Movement Foundation Course, Anatomy Training courses, ZEN•GA®, and other movement modalities. In addition to STOTT PILATES®, Kim is a Pink Ribbon Program Certified Instructor, TRX Suspension Training and Rip Training Instructor, and a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Prior to her Pilates journey, she earned an MBA and BGS from the University of Michigan (U-M) and worked for advertising agencies. When not teaching clients, courses, or taking continuing education classes, Kim enjoys cycling, racing sailboats, cheering U-M football, and raising her young daughter and Labrador retriever with her husband.

Kimberlee has been studying and teaching the STOTT PILATES® method since 2002, and in 2007 went on to become an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew®, specializing in STOTT PILATES Matwork & Reformer. Kimberlee's passion is teaching and she holds a Master's in Education from Lesley University. In 2006 she started a successful Pilates program at LifeBridge Health and Fitness in Baltimore, MD, where she currently teaches full-time. In 2008, LBHF became a Licensed Training Center satellite affiliated with Northeast Pilates. Kimberlee is also a Total Barre® and ZEN•GA® Instructor and teaches Mad Dogg Spinning, TRX®, and Yoga.

Kris Brown started her Pilates journey in 2011 when she successfully completed and certified in the Comprehensive Pilates Program with Balanced Body. After moving to Utah in 2014, she found her passion for STOTT PILATES® where she continued her education and became a fully certified instructor. Her diverse skill set extends beyond Pilates, encompassing specialized training in Injuries and Special Populations, Merrithew Fascial Movement, CORE™ Athletic Conditioning, Total Barre®and TRX Suspension.
A dedicated learner, Kris is well-versed in Anatomy, Postural Biomechanics, and Injury Rehabilitation. Kris's passion for Pilates and ongoing commitment to learning have propelled her into the role of STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer, specializing in Mat and Reformer. She is driven by a strong desire to share her knowledge and experiences with the upcoming generation of instructors.

Kristi earned her M.A. in Dance from American University in Washington, D.C., specializing in teaching, kinesiology, and choreography. She performed professionally throughout the U.S. and Europe before becoming an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew® and a Lead Instructor Trainer for STOTT PILATES® in 2003. Over the past seven years, Kristi has expanded her teaching internationally, leading instructor training courses and workshops across China, Vietnam, and Japan. Today, she shares her passion for education and movement as the owner of Bodycenter Studios, a Licensed Training Center for the STOTT PILATES® method in Seattle, Washington, where she mentors and develops new generations of Pilates instructors.

Krisztián comes from a background as a ballet dancer and became a Merrithew® Instructor Trainer in 2006. Since then he graduated at Semmelweis University Faculty of Health Sciences as a physiotherapist. He also qualified as a personal trainer at the Hungarian University of Physical Education. At his studio in Budapest, Hungary, he teaches the STOTT PILATES® program as well as GYROTONIC®, TRX, TRX- Rip Training, and trains a variety of clients including dancers, athletes and agile recreational clients. As a physiotherapist, Krisztián works with patients who have neurological, rheumatological and orthopedical problems and rehabilitates trauma injuries. In 2020, he became a Merrithew Lead IT.

Kyung completed the STOTT PILATES® course in 2013, marking the beginning of her journey as a Level 1 instructor at WITH PILATES. Delighted by the positive feedback she received from both clients and students, Kyung's passion for Pilates grew stronger. In 2023, she became an Instructor Trainer, and now guides her students toward a deeper understanding of STOTT PILATES.
With boundless enthusiasm, Kyung looks forward to sharing her knowledge and expertise with more clients and students.

Bio
With a background in gymnastics and contemporary dance, Laura discovered Pilates and was drawn to STOTT PILATES® for its structured methodology and the expertise of its instructors. She became STOTT PILATES certified in 2017 and later pursued training as a Merrithew® Instructor Trainer.
After years of experience as a Pilates Instructor and having taught in various studios across Spain, Laura went on to found LATES & LATES in Barcelona—a dynamic Pilates studio where she gives training courses as a Merrithew Instructor Trainer. Her studio fosters an international learning environment, welcoming instructors eager to expand their knowledge and refine their teaching, with courses offered in both Spanish and English.

Laura began her Pilates career in 2005 while dancing as a professional ballerina. In 2008, Laura became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew®, specializing in STOTT PILATES®. She began teaching courses and private clients at Inspire Health, the STOTT PILATES Licensed Training Center in Atlanta, GA. In 2011, she moved to the outskirts of Nashville and opened her own studio. There, she hosts training courses as she continues to grow her family and the STOTT PILATES community in central Tennessee. Laura is passionate about educating and mentoring students, and she loves being a part of their respective journeys. In 2020, she became a Merrithew Lead IT.
