Instructor Trainer bios

The STOTT PILATES® Faculty, or members of our esteemed team of Instructor Trainers, is made up of highly qualified and internationally sought-after educators who are known for their dedication, professionalism and attention to detail. All of our faculty members hold full certification in the STOTT PILATES method and have achieved additional designations to complement their training. A diverse group, they come from various backgrounds including physical therapy, exercise science, athletic therapy, dance and group and personal fitness training to name a few. Every member of the team strives to uphold the highest standards of training that have been developed worldwide.

With approximately 27 years in the fitness industry, Alison decided to expand her knowledge and wanted to study at more of a clinical level. She qualified as an osteopath in 2014 and now combines osteopathy with Pilates. She has been an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew specializing in STOTT PILATES® since 2007 and was awarded the prestigious title of Lead Instructor Trainer in 2012. She is also an IT in CORE Athletic Conditioning & Performance Training. Alison is extremely passionate about Pilates, with a specific interest in how it can be used in the post rehabilitation process. She delivers a range of STOTT PILATES education at YMCA OneKX and is now in the process of working towards teaching STOTT PILATES rehabilitation programs too.
