MaryAnn has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing across the health, fitness and specialty apparel markets. She has worked with hospitals and clinics throughout the US and Canada, as well as with major retailers including Target, Nordstrom and Johnson & Johnson. MaryAnn joined Merrithew in 2016, managing sales in education training across a variety of fitness brands, including the STOTT PILATES® Rehabilitation program. She holds an honors degree from the University of Toronto in English and Culture, and is certified in Nutrition Science.

Leah Van Staveren

Leah is a certified Kinesiologist with an honours degree in Physical and Health Education from Queen’s University. Leah’s experience and interest in the Rehabilitation industry and therapeutic exercise modalities is wide ranging. Since joining Merrithew in 2016, she has worked closely with international partners to promote the Merrithew brand worldwide. As part of the Commercial team, Leah works directly with health care professionals looking to expand their skills as a practitioner, as well as clinic owners looking to add Pilates to their practice as an additional source of revenue.

Sara Baker

Sara is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Science in Cellular Biology and received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is also a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor, a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist and member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia. She has pursued additional training in manual therapy, strain counterstrain techniques, neurodynamics, Redcord Neurac training, and real time ultrasound for biofeedback training of lumbopelvic musculature.

Sara founded Inspire Health in 2005, and practices physical therapy, specializing in spinal care and neuromuscular re-education, in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
