With a proven track record at companies like Certor and Springs North America, Jim is recognized for his strategic vision and innovative approach. At Merrithew, Jim is dedicated to advancing the company’s prominence in the Pilates and mindful movement sectors. His leadership focuses on driving product development and delivering cutting-edge educational programs that cater to the evolving needs of the global fitness community.

Passionate about fostering meaningful connections and enhancing well-being worldwide, Jim’s commitment to fitness and wellness perfectly aligns with Merrithew’s core values. Chris Farnsworth is a litigation attorney turned Inc. 5000 wellness entrepreneur and Founder and CEO of LiveMetta Pilates and Yoga in Southern California.

Chris is the Founder and CEO of LiveMetta Pilates and Yoga, a collection of boutique studios in Southern California and an Inc. 5000 fastest growing company in the US for 2023 and 2024.

After leaving a career as a litigation attorney in 2019, Chris and LiveMetta have completed 7 acquisitions of Pilates and yoga studios, rolling them into a common brand - all of which have seen revenue growth ranging from 50% to over 300% post-acquisition.

LiveMetta's Pilates studios are proud Merrithew/STOTT PILATES® Licensed Training Centers. LiveMetta has grown its education revenue by more than 100% over the last 3 years.

LiveMetta opened its first greenfield studio in July and was profitable in its first month of operations. LiveMetta will open its 9th and 10th locations before the end of the year and will begin offering franchise licenses in Q1 of 2025.

LiveMetta's culture is built on the principle of Loving-Kindness, or "metta." Chris believes in the power of the shared human experience and sees LiveMetta (and its non-profit LiveMetta Heartspace) as vehicles to serve others. LiveMetta's mission is simple - to inspire love.
