STOTT PILATES® Full Intermediate Reformer Workout
For participants already familiar with Intermediate Reformer exercises, this session is an invaluable review and a great workout. Developed by the Merrithew® team, practice the full selection of exercises from the STOTT PILATES® Intermediate Reformer repertoire. Strategies toward creating a flowing workout are discussed. However, discussion regarding modifications or other teaching tips are kept to a minimum. Learn more complex and coordinated Intermediate-level skills, with emphasis on the goals of the exercises, correct biomechanics and alignment.

STOTT PILATES® Reformer with Fitness Circle®
In this workshop, developed by the Merrithew® team, learn how the Fitness Circle® can bring variety and challenge into group or private Reformer settings. Add more challenge to adductors and abductors of the peripheral limbs as well as assist in activating the core. The resistance ring reinforces correct muscle firing patterns and helps ensure correct positioning while adding an element of fun and variety to each workout.
Learning objectives
- Understand how the STOTT PILATES Principles apply to exercises using the Reformer and Fitness Circle
- Discover how the Fitness Circle can be used in innovative movement sequences
- Utilize the resistance ring to increase challenge to upper and lower body respectively
- Learn how to incorporate these movements into a complete Reformer workout to create variety and challenge

STOTT PILATES® Prenatal Pilates on the Reformer
Learn the benefits of taking moms-to-be from traditional Matwork variations to select exercise modifications on the Reformer in this workshop, developed by the Merrithew® team. Using current exercise guidelines provided by the ACOG and bearing in mind common anatomical and physiological changes, appropriate STOTT PILATES® exercise adaptations are explored using the Reformer in innovative and beneficial ways. Workout safety and effectiveness remain paramount and the client’s risk factors, pre-pregnancy fitness level, health concerns and fitness goals are being taken in to account when creating new and ongoing programs.

- Understand movement essence and exercise goals for the prenatal client
- Explore how exercise choices are made for the prenatal client and modifications that may be needed

STOTT PILATES® Interval Training on Jumpboard or Cardio-Tramp®, Level 1
Learn to challenge and motivate clients and classes using either the Jumpboard or Cardio-Tramp® rebounder with the Reformer, in this workshop developed by the Merrithew® team. Innovative and simple jumping combinations are combined with upper- and lower-body strength and flexibility exercises. This unique cardio / strength interval workout on the solid accessory board or resilient vertical trampoline, challenges the core and total body strength while elevating the heart rate, all while focusing on proper jumping technique. This energetic format keeps clients and classes on the move.

- Apply the STOTT PILATES Principles to Jumpboard or Cardio-Tramp and Reformer exercises
- Challenge client’s cardiovascular system and build endurance
- Challenge abdominal stability and strengthen lower body through jump sequences
- Learn exercise variations and modifications for specific body types
