Our recruitment process allows us to get to know you and vice-versa, so it’s a mutually good fit. Here’s what you can expect:

Stage 1: Apply

Find the position that’s right for you and send us your resume and cover letter. Tell us what makes you a great fit for this role.

Stage 2: Phone interview

If your application meets the job requirements, a member of our HR team will contact you to find out more about your experience and qualifications. We’ll be happy to answer any of your questions about what it’s like to work here.

Stage 3: In-person interview

Select candidates will be invited for a 30 to 60 minute in-person interview. Depending on the role, there will usually be two interviewers, one HR representative and the direct manager. Come prepared to discuss your experience with examples that support your answers. We encourage open dialogue and welcome candidates to ask questions of us during the process.

Stage 4: Final interview & assessment

Depending on the position, there may be a second interview with a senior leader, or an assessment to give us further insight into your core competencies, written communication and/or presentation skills, or technical abilities. If we think you’ll make a great addition to our team, we’ll ask you to submit three employment references.

Stage 5: Offer and preparing for your first day

If we determine that you’ll be an asset to our team, we’ll send you a formal offer. Once you have returned your signed paperwork, a member of the HR team will provide you with useful information about your first day, so you know exactly what to expect. We can’t wait for you to join our diverse and welcoming team!

At Merrithew, we believe in giving back to our community. We participate in and donate to charities and events that align with our company mission to support health and wellness.

Heart & Stroke Big Bike

Merrithew has fundraised and participated in the Heart & Stroke Big Bike ride since 2012. Big Bike is a 30-person bike ride around the Yonge and Eglinton area. It’s a great team building event that allows us to make new work friends while enjoying some fresh air and exercise, all for a good cause.
