Senior Sales Manager, Global Hosting (EMEA) – Bilingual

Position overview

Welcome to an exceptional career opportunity as a Senior Sales Manager for Global Hosting at Merrithew®! The Senior Sales Manager, Global Hosting (EMEA) is responsible for education sales and account management across Europe, the UK, Middle East, and Africa, leading the expansion of Merrithew’s educational offerings. The primary goal is to elevate sales and revenue within the territory through strategic prospecting, dynamic sales initiatives, and unparalleled customer relationship management.

Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth by promoting Merrithew branded courses and workshops, increasing the number of students trained. By leveraging the company’s global network of instructor trainers, this person will be sure to optimize resources and ensure maximum impact and effectiveness in every educational endeavor. By promoting Merrithew’s branded courses and workshops, the company will ultimately increase the number of students trained and brand awareness within EMEA. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Hosting, and working closely with the Director of Operations, Global Hosting, this person will develop new Host Training Centers (HTCs) while managing and growing sales with existing HTC partners. In conjunction with a team of Hosting/Sales Coordinators as direct reports, the Senior Sales Manager, Global Hosting (EMEA) will oversee customer relationships and provide superior customer service to all partners within the territory.

The Senior Sales Manager must be fluent in an additional language – either German, French, Spanish or Arabic.

Major responsibilities

Maximizing sales results through business analysis, planning, marketing and execution required to grow Merrithew branded programming education revenues through host training centers from both growing sales in existing host centers as well as establishing new hosting opportunities.

Business planning and sales growth

  • Identify opportunities of business growth and increase hosting frequencies and stimulate more diversified program as well as to facilitate equipment sales opportunities through education;
  • Meet annual sales revenue target in education sales opportunities brought by hosting
  • Planning of territorial-based sales growth projections and execution plans to meet business objectives assigned by Department Head
  • Follow up on education leads from education training records, tradeshow leads, referrals from clients etc. and WeChat leads, manage them in CRM, convert into opportunities, close sales and establish new host centers
  • Grow recurring sales in Host Sites by increasing frequency of hosting following the career path of STOTT PILATES Intensive Program, and coordinate Instructor Training scheduling resources in the same territory as well as with other territories
  • Converting new host sites into long term hosting partners
  • Work closely with Commercial Sales Managers, resellers and distributors for designed regions to help equipment sales through education
  • Conducting market research for new potential markets, propose pricing structure based on market research and competitive analysis for an overall go-to market strategy

Providing customer service

  • Provide seamless customer service to Host Centers in guiding them through processes and policies so they can be successful. Act as the go-to consultant for Host Centers in terms of Merrithew education offering, program choices, career path for instructors;
  • Manage new and newer Host Centre clients through by providing program and business consultation and handhold new partners to success; correct any non-compliances of Merrithew policies and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Programming Team to help facilitate smooth operation to maintain customer relationship
  • Work closely with Marketing and Commercial team to support the marketing and event initiatives to promote Merrithew education in line with territorial business objectives and growth plans
  • Help develop and fine-tune departmental and cross-functional processes to improve efficiency in support business growth
  • Assisting translation of collaterals and education-related content per needed.

Leadership and supervision

  • Manage 2 coordinators reporting to this role

Skills and qualifications

  • 5+ years of B to B experience selling services to decision makers in an international business setting;
  • Previous experience as a sales manager for EMEA market is highly preferred.
  • Strong prospecting/hunting skills, pro-activeness to winning and closing deals puts you on top of the world.
  • Fluency in at least one second language such as German, French, Spanish, Arabic, besides English, is a must for this position
  • Able to plan, customize and deliver business proposals and presentations is essential.
  • Experience interacting with customers in a sales environment that involves email selling, social media prospecting, trade show interaction, demand creation and/or account management in a highly culturally dynamic cultural background
  • You come with self-motivating persona and a positive can -do attitude, and are committed to perseverance and can overcome objections to achieve objectives while maintaining customer relationship
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident, well-spoken, outgoing, proactive and professional
  • Active listener with a consultative approach to understanding client needs
  • Supreme ability to organize yourself, your tasks, and manage your time to be highly productive
  • Ability to work at flexible hours to deliver timely effective customer experience in an international environment
  • Great teammate – You enjoy working as part of a team, you want to be relied upon and you understand that outcomes are a result of a lot of people contributing
  • Exceptional skills with data analysis and market research
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or related studies will be an asset
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Up to 15% travel time to designated territories may be required
