Digital Content Coordinator

Position overview

In the role of the Digital Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the digital content that feeds our rich streaming platform. In addition to this, you will naturally become our platform expert which will allow us to expand our capabilities and continue to offer a robust streaming experience. Reporting to the Director of Digital Technology, you will be a member of the IT team and working collaboratively with various departments such as Marketing, Sales and Education.

Major responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, manage and upload digital content to be used on various platforms
  • Create short video clips to be featured on various platforms in the form of video trailers
  • Create and maintain promo codes for content on our streaming platform
  • Request digital assets such as thumbnails from the Design team
  • Edit and proofread content before publication on the platform to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Create and maintain support and process documentation for the various activities related to our streaming platform
  • Manage user rights and access for the content on our streaming platform
  • Support and assist internal teams with regular reporting and data pulling from the platform

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Social Media, Business, PR, or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience. Agency background is preferred
  • A passion for digital content, consumer experience, and connecting with an audience
  • A strong understanding of the consumer digital content marketplace, trends, and best practices
  • A team player with the confidence to lead and work independently and collaboratively with others while taking initiative to ensure that goals are met
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and an understanding of visual communication
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders and deadlines with competing user demands
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well within an in-house “agency-like” environment
  • Ability to adapt well to change in a rapidly growing company
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
