Coordinator, CTC

Position overview

Reporting to the manager of Corporate Training Center & Studio, at the Yonge and Eglinton location this role involves administering the education programs at the CTC, assisting with registration and day to day client / student services and providing superior customer service.

We’re looking for a candidate who can facilitate the success of Merrithew educational programs as reflected by course enrollment and sales goals, has strong interpersonal and communication skills with great attention to detail.

Major responsibilities

Customer Service/ Education Advisor

  • Act as a client/student advisor for inquiries regarding the Merrithew education path which includes schedule for courses and workshops, tuition fees, course materials, examination, and continuing education, including online workshops and private reviews
  • Follow up with course participant’s pre, during and post course to ensure they are satisfied with their learning experience (reminder e-mails, daily check-ins, etc.)
  • In charge of Merrithew Online Workshops (MOW) offered exclusively to Merrithew instructor trainers on an a la carte schedule – responsibilities include scheduling, promotion, application of payment using the CRM software, setting up all equipment needed to conduct workshop, etc.
  • Assist Merrithew Licensed and/or Host Training Centers/Sites on sharing CTC best practices to include registration, administrative activities, day-to-day client/student service, marketing and communication strategies, etc.

Business Planning & Sales

  • Assist in the implementation of sales and marketing strategies to increase client/student enrolment, participation and retention in courses and workshops at the Corporate Training Center
  • Assist in the planning, promotion, implementation & tracking of all approved courses and workshops offered at the center

Implementation

  • Apply payments to course orders for both education tuition and course materials and updated tracker for Corporate Training center once payments have been applied
  • Ensure the administration of all scheduled education is executed from plan date to finish for Corporate Training Center; data base information including student and instructor information, education quotations and orders, processing of applications, course deposits and payments
  • Daily check-in with students to ensure educational needs and inquiries are met
  • Responsible for providing the Studio with class lists for all education courses to facilitate tracking traffic in and out of studio premises
  • Assist in the communication and promotion of courses, workshops (e-blasts, website, social media, etc.)
  • Post course service support to include collecting all post course documents; attendance list, Instructor Agreements, and entering attendees into EMS to generate completion letter
  • Assist with logistics of course and workshop preparation (i.e. set up and tear down, etc.)
  • Administrative tasks as required – scanning, prepare welcome bags for courses, course attendance packages for instructors

Skills and qualifications

  • 2+ years customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Filemaker Pro or other database system
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to shifting priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Event Planning and/or Marketing experience an asset
  • Knowledge of fitness industry educational programs a plus
