How important is the warm-up component of your workout?
An effective warm-up should gradually elevate your body temperature, increase blood flow to your muscles, and loosen and mobilize stiff joints and fascia, helping you prepare and ease into the more strenuous part of your workout ahead.
It’s also an opportunity to focus on your breathing to settle your mind, clear away mental distractions and connect more mindfully to your movement practice.
