Question: Which picture shows the correct position?

Photo B

Photo B

Answer: Photo B is correct.

Correct: In Photo B, Bianca’s lumbar spine and hips remain in a neutral position against the Jumpboard. Her cervical and thoracic spine are evenly extended, and her scapulae are stabilized.

Incorrect: In Photo A, Bianca’s pelvis is anteriorly tilted, and her hips are flexed. When in this position, it’s important that the hips and pelvis remain in contact with the Jumpboard to encourage proper alignment of the cervical and thoracic spine.
