Can-Fit-Pro and STOTT PILATES® team up to establish Pilates world record
TORONTO, August 5, 2008 –
Can-Fit-Pro and STOTT PILATES® invite fitness enthusiasts to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Pilates Class. The class will take place on Saturday, August 16 at 5:15 p.m. at the third annual Can-Fit-Pro Consumer Fitness & Wellness Show. Held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, in South Building, Hall F, this record attempt will be the grand finale of the show, in an attempt to create fitness history.
Consumers are invited to bring a Pilates mat – or buy one at the event – and join the 25-minute workout hosted by STOTT PILATES co-founders Moira Merrithew and Lindsay G. Merrithew. The class is free with registration to the consumer show or $10 without show registration and will be led by Moira, who is internationally recognized as a top Pilates educator, with Lindsay leading the development of the company’s innovative equipment line. STOTT PILATES is the world’s leading full-service Pilates company and celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
