Anjali Sareen

Co-founder of The Zone, Anjali Sareen, has been in the fitness field since the early 90s and is the only STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer in India who, as well as training clients, trains and examines instructors. Anjali is uniquely equipped with the depth of knowledge and intelligent approach to exercise and body-conditioning that Pilates requires and was responsible for introducing the first integrated equipment-based Pilates program to India in 2006. She is a certified fitness instructor experienced in both group and personal training, pre-teen and teen fitness, pre- and post-natal, and working with clients with special needs. Prior to establishing The Zone in 2001, Anjali owned and managed a group exercise studio that conducted classes in step, hi-lo aerobics, cardio-boxing, boot camp, strength training, flexibility training, karate, tai chi, dance, and yoga.

Ann Carina Schubert

Ann Carina became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2011, a  STOTT PILATES Rehab Certified Instructor in 2013. She then moved on to become a Certified Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™, specializing in STOTT PILATES Rehab. As a competitive figure skater, Ann Carina was first introduced to the Pilates method and later, as a physiotherapy student, was introduced to STOTT PILATES. Ann Carina uses her STOTT PILATES training to fully rehabilitate clients back to daily life and also back to high level sports.


Anne Dawson

Anne has been practicing physiotherapy since her graduation from the University of Saskatchewan in 1981 with a focus on chronic pain syndromes, TMJ and spinal dysfunctions, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy. An Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™, Anne specializes in the STOTT PILATES® Injuries and Special Populations program for rehabilitation and conditioning and has developed individualized Pilates rehab exercise programs only available at Fitness Physiotherapy. A teacher of acupuncture and TMJ care to physiotherapists at a post graduate level, Anne has served on the Manitoba regulatory board for physiotherapists, The College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba and is a member of organizations including the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, and the International Association for the Study of Pain. She has been a contributor to many medical journals and general interest publications on physiotherapy subjects

Anne Pringle Burnell

Anne has been an Instructor Trainer since 2007 and teaches at Elements in Motion, a Licensed Training Center for the STOTT PILATES® method in Chicago.  She has a passion for incorporating Pilates with aquatics and is the proud creator of the Stronger Seniors® program.  Anne has presented at The International Aquatics Fitness Conference, International Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute Symposium, and The National Council on Aging Conference, only to name a few.  In addition to educating Pilates instructors, Anne is a faculty/education provider for AEA, ACE, AFAA, ATRI, and AquaStretch™. She teaches at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Peninsula Hotel, and the University of Illinois Chicago.

Anneliese Burns Wilson

Anneliese was a professional ballet dancer and competitive ballroom dancer when she was introduced to Pilates in 1990 as the result of a car accident. In 2003 she was introduced to STOTT PILATES® and became a fully certified Instructor in 2004.  She became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™, specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2005 and was named as one of the original Lead Instructor Trainers in 2009. Anneliese is also an Instructor Trainer specializing in ZEN•GA™ Mindful Movement. Anneliese is the proud owner of abc for dance which creates educational materials and teaching tools for dance educators.  She also spent several years developing programming materials for senior independent living facilities and was recognized with awards from the fitness community for the screening evaluation she designed for active older adults.  Anneliese thoroughly enjoys being an Instructor Trainer and working with her personal clients.
