Tara Gregorio

With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, Tara brings a dynamic style of teaching to her STOTT PILATES® instruction and is known for her precision, patience and guidance when training students. Tara graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1999 with a BSC in Fitness Management, and has worked at a variety of elite facilities throughout the United States. An Tara earned her STOTT PILATES certification in 2002, before becoming an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ in 2003, where she specializes in STOTT PILATES as a Lead IT. In 2006 she moved to New York City to help pioneer and oversee the STOTT PILATES Corporate Training Center where she works training and examining students in the New York area.  Tara is the proud owner of a Pilates and Yoga studio in Cold Spring, NY and is an experienced ACE Personal Trainer and Mad Dogg Spinning® Instructor.

Tim Fleisher


Austin, Texas USA

Tim became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES® in 2007 and moved to Brazil as a Lead IT shortly thereafter to train instructors in the STOTT PILATES method at Pilates Studio Fit; a Licensed Training Center in Sao Paulo. He moved back to the United States in 2011 and now is pursuing a Ph.D. in Neuromuscular Physiology with an emphasis on Low Back Pain Research.  Tim is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, a Full Body Active Release Techniques Provider, and an Active Isolated Stretching Therapist. In addition to his schoolwork and training Pilates instructors, Tim acts as the massage therapist for the University of Texas Women's Diving and Swim teams, is a USA Cycling certified coach, and coaches individuals for triathlons.

Tomo Tsuchida

Originally from Tokyo, Tomo obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University, where she and gained extensive practical experience working with the body as an aide in orthopedic physical therapy clinics.  It was in the field of rehabilitation that Tomo discovered Pilates and she decided to pursue her STOTT PILATES® certification with the belief that the method could help people maintain a strong mind and body.  She became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2009 and continually draws from her diverse background and knowledge of the human body in teaching students and helping clients achieve their fitness goals.

Tresa Sauer

The Sweatshop

In 2005, Tresa left a 20-year paralegal career to become a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor.  After completing her courses at The Sweatshop in St. Paul, she began teaching classes and working privately with clients there.  In 2010, Tresa became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES and remains at The Sweatshop now teaching students in addition to her client base.  Her dynamic personality and keen sense of humor bring enthusiasm to the educational setting and make her an approachable mentor and information source.  In addition to Pilates, Tresa is a TRX Suspension System, Russian Kettlebell and CrossFit enthusiast.

Vered Arbel

Elements In Motion

Stemming from a professional background in dance, Vered’s career shifted towards teaching as she became a certified instructor and choreographer in her own dance company. She started studying Pilates in 1991and became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES® in 2000, the same year she opened her own studio and STOTT PILATES Licensed Training Center. Working closely with rehabilitation centers and implementing various sports specific programs, Vered teaches clients as well as certification courses and continuing education workshops to fitness and health professionals. She is currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science while lecturing and assistant teaching at University of Illinois at Chicago.  Elements in Motion is an approved internship site for University of Illinois at Chicago and is an approved continuing education provider and by ACSM, NSCA and NASM .
