Instructor Trainers

The STOTT PILATES® Faculty, or members of our esteemed team of Instructor Trainers, is made up of highly qualified and internationally sought-after educators who are known for their dedication, professionalism and attention to detail.   All of our faculty members hold full certification in the STOTT PILATES method and have achieved additional designations to complement their training. A diverse group, they come from various backgrounds including physical therapy, exercise science, athletic therapy, dance and group and personal fitness training to name a few. Every member of the team strives to uphold the highest standards of training that have been developed worldwide.

Lisa Kaye


Sydney, Australia

Originally from the UK, Lisa is a former member of the British National Gymnastic Squad. Now based in Sydney, she has been teaching health & fitness for over 15 years. She is an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES®, a registered fitness leader and an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Certified Health & Fitness Specialist. Lisa teaches STOTT PILATES courses & workshops in Australia and has her own Pilates studio in Sydney that specializes in private Pilates training.

Lisa Lewis

Gigi’s Pilates Studio (Satellite Location for Victory Pilates)

Lisa became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2006 and an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2011 and ZENGA™ Mindful Movement in 2013. She is an ISCA certified personal trainer, TRX trained, and is also a certified breast cancer exercise specialist. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance with Honors and Highest Distinction from the University of Iowa in 2006.  Lisa enjoys working with a wide range of Pilates clients; from those recovering from surgery to highly conditioned athletes. In addition to teaching Pilates, Lisa dances and performs professionally with Hurley & Dancers, a modern dance company in Des Moines, and teaches dance to a variety of levels and ages.

Marie Michalski

Marie holds a B.Ed. from the University of Alberta and started her career in the fitness industry in 1997 as a Fitness Program Director at the YMCA.  She became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2001 after discovering Pilates and enjoying how well it integrated with her fitness background in dance and purposeful movement.  Marie became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2007 and believes her teaching is greatly enhanced by her extensive movement training background.  She enjoys the challenge that comes with carefully tailoring programs to each individual based on their unique background, goals, and lifestyle.

Marina Buntovskikh

Brussels Pilates (Satellite Location for Pilates Italia)

Born in Russia, Marina studied German at the University for Foreign Languages ​​in Almaty, Kazakhstan. After moving to Europe in 1997, her passion for fitness and wellness led her to become a certified aerobic instructor and a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor.  Soon after, she became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES and she is the proud owner of Brusselspilates.be.  Marina speaks Russian, English, French, and German.

Marsha Warnke

Blue Sparrow Pilates
San Francisco, California USA

Marsha received her certification as a STOTT PILATES® Instructor in 2001, and became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2008.  Marsha has always had a passion for body movement and dance, having spent over twenty years as a professional ballet dancer, instructor and choreographer.  She holds a Masters of Science Education in Exercise Physiology from the University of Kansas, and is a certified Clinical Exercise Specialist and Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine.  Marsha brings her extensive knowledge of anatomy, as well as a genuine enthusiasm for bodywork to each workout.
