About: Due to popular demand we’re coming back to the UK! The 2014 Merrithew Mindful Movement Tour is designed for all members of the fitness community to learn the latest in mind-body exercise. Each day features a choice of sessions so attendees can tailor the event to suit their needs. Sessions include new programming from STOTT PILATES® and CORE™ Athletic Conditioning and Performance Training™. Sessions also include programming from Total Barre™, ZEN●GA™ and Halo® Training..

Laureen DuBeau

Master Instructor Trainer

Laureen is an integral member of a dynamic team responsible for the global development and implementation of training and certification programs. Her spirited approach to teaching has made Laureen a vibrant international presenter, trainer and examiner. An NSCA certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, she began teaching Pilates in 1995 and is now a Merrithew Health & Fitness Master Instructor Trainer specializing in STOTT PILATES®. Laureen is a featured performer and associate producer of many Merrithew Health & Fitness DVDs, the associate editor of numerous teaching manuals and author of articles in several industry publications.Prior to joining Merrithew Health & Fitness, Laureen worked for Tennis Canada where she was responsible for Canadian and international public relations in the capacity of media relations and communications, player relations and event organization. Laureen studied Dance and Physical Education at York University in Toronto where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Dr. Bob Andersen has been in the performance coaching field for nearly 20 years and brings with him a vast array of knowledge and experience. He has expertise in performance training and functional movement as well as planning and implementing performance / strength and conditioning programs for all levels from aspiring youth to elite Olympic and professional athletes. He was Head Performance/Strength Coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Director of Performance Victory Human Performance, Director of the Sports Medicine Institute of Nebraska, and as performance consultant for numerous Universities, teams, clubs and academies. Bob is now an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™, specializing in CORE™. He has earned a reputation as a dynamic presenter, expert instructor, and engaging mentor. He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with bachelor's degrees in Exercise Science as well as Psychology then received his doctorate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Sarah Jarvis joined the Merrithew Health & Fitness™ team in 2004 after completing her Full Certification in STOTT PILATES® and is now Programming Coordinator in the Education department, a STOTT PILATES Lead Instructor Trainer and an Instructor Trainer specializing in ZEN•GA™ Mindful Movement and Total Barre™. Sarah began teaching aerobics and weight training classes while finishing her degree in Business Administration at the University of Windsor. While working in sales and managing a club, she soon discovered STOTT PILATES exercise. Intrigued by the method and the ability to strengthen and refocus the mind and body, she made the transition from the high-impact training world and continues to witness the impact these programs have made all over the world.

CC’s experience and practice in the fitness industry has spanned over 20 years. She began as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer in 1992, teaching at various gyms and at UMass Amherst while attending school there. After graduating with a BFA, CC continued to gravitate towards fitness as a career. After becoming a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor, CC became an Instructor Trainer for Merrithew Health & Fitness™ specializing in STOTT PILATES in 2001 and Total Barre™ in 2013. She is a valuable member of the esteemed Merrithew Health & Fitness programming and presenting team. CC opened her first fitness and Pilates studio in Boston in 1999 and in 2005 opened a STOTT PILATES Licensed Training Center in Connecticut. She is now the proud owner/operator of 4 studios in the greater Boston, MA and Hartford CT areas. CC is NSCA certified and always strives to create results-driven workouts that are safe, effective, and fun.
