The Toronto Corporate Training Center is situated in beautiful uptown, and is home to both a fully-equipped education training center as well as a bustling client studio. Toronto’s first Pilates studio, which is conveniently located right on the subway line, features the latest in Merrithew Health & Fitness™ equipment developments and program offerings and routinely welcomes students, instructors, instructor trainers and clients from all over the world. The two adjacent studios make an ideal environment for learning, practicing and observing -- and facilitates apprentice teaching for the students who have enrolled in the Comprehensive programs. Current students in Toronto are also eligible to take group classes taught by the best instructors in the industry as part of their course tuition. The Corporate Training Center is home of Merrithew Health & Fitness™ and serves as a base for a large team of Instructor Trainers, Lead Instructor Trainers and Master Instructor Trainers. No Tutus Required
Total Barre™ is a high-energy program that focuses on strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability by combining elements from Pilates, dance, cardio and strength training. Programming is driven by music which, when used appropriately, has been proven to increase coordination, motivation and improve movement quality. Incorporating the Total Barre Foundational Principles, this program teaches choreography, exercise essence and correct biomechanics of movements as well as how to cue effectively and safely to music. Following a progressive template, suggested beats per minute are provided and close attention paid to the importance of modifying exercises for specific clientele.
