Equilibrium opened its doors in 1997 as the first fully Licensed Merrithew^® Training Center in the United States and offers private sessions, group sessions, and full certification which includes an enriching apprenticeship program, with courses starting five times a year. At the Merrithew 2012 Community of Excellence Conference, Equilibrium was awarded one of the 5 studios with the Most Students Trained since 2009. Equilibrium is the only Pilates studio to offer TRX and Xtend Barre in Michigan. They also offer The Gyrotonic System, Gyrokineses and Cardio Circuit Training. Equilibrium has 22 Instructors, including Instructor Trainers, Physical Therapists and apprentices. All Instructors are certified in STOTT PILATES^® prior to teaching clients in other programs, making all of the workouts more effective and safer.
