First-level exercises serve to develop core strength and stability while those in the second level focus on mobility and agility. These workouts, developed by the Merrithew Health and Fitness™ team, provide tons of new material to inspire every client no matter what their fitness level.


Learning Objectives


  1. Learn Matwork modifications from Essential and Intermediate levels.
  2. Modify these exercises with props including the Flex-Band, Fitness Circle and Toning Balls.
  3. Apply the STOTT PILATES® Five Basic Principles of stabilization to all exercises.
  4. Learn cues and corrections to help ensure safety and effectiveness.
