Julia Bourne

Originally from England, Julia is a certified dance teacher with the Royal Academy and worked as a professional dancer for 12 years before discovering Pilates. She became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2003 and an Instructor Trainer in 2008 and currently teaches at John Garey Fitness and Pilates in Long Beach, California. Julia is also a certified personal trainer with ACE and is the owner of Bourne Pilates and Fitness in Upland, California.

Kanako Funabashi

An avid dancer, Kanako turned to Pilates as a means of conditioning and improving her strength. She immediately recognized the benefits and became extremely invested in the STOTT PILATES® method. In 2006 she received her certification as an Instructor, and she went on to achieve Instructor Trainer status in 2008. Kanako enjoys working with instructors to improve their skills, and also loves to work with clients and assist them in achieving their strength and fitness goals.

Keiko Idetsu

A physiotherapist since 1998, Keiko became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2005 and became an Instructor Trainer in 2007.   Currently, she works at an orthopedic clinic and enjoys adopting the STOTT PILATES method in to a rehabilitation setting. She also acts as a mentor to local students, providing educational support with her years of experience teaching courses and workshops.

Kelley Berting

With a background in fitness and dance, Kelley has always had a keen interest in wellness, and was initially drawn to Pilates as a means of recovering from injuries. She received her STOTT PILATES® Certification in 2006, and in 2009 she became an Instructor Trainer. Kelly is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition to teaching Pilates, she works full time as a Police Officer. Kelly is an energetic instructor who enjoys passing her enthusiasm for the STOTT PILATES® method to her clients.

Kelly Dormady

Kelly’s background in dance and her passion for movement led her to commit herself a career in to health and wellness.  Drawn to the philosophy of the STOTT PILATES® method, Kelly began her training in 2001, became a Certified Instructor in 2004 and an Instructor Trainer specializing in CORE™ in 2013.  She became an Instructor Trainer in 2004, and currently acts as the Pilates Program and Professional Training Director at the SweatShop Health Club in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition to being an Instructor Trainer, Kelly has a BA in Dance from the University of New Mexico, is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a KBC Kettlebell Instructor.
